Bio - District Missionary Elinda Dumas

District Missionary Elinda Dumas was born and raised in the Toomsboro, Georgia. She faithfully attended Dixon Temple Church of God In Christ (COGIC) in her home town.  She received salvation at the age of 19.  After finishing High School, she attended Savannah State University (formerly College) and received her bachelor’s in marketing/Business Administration.

In 1982 she met Enoch Dumas of Savannah, GA. and the two became one in April of 1984.  From this union of 39 years, came their two beautiful sons, Cedric and Dalan.  She was employed by Cahaba Government Benefit Administrators – Medicare Part B for the 23 years and Candler/St Joseph’s Hospital.

Ministry: District Missy Dumas presently faithfully attends Faith Chapel COGIC, where the founding pastor is Superintendent Enoch Dumas. She plays an active role in her church teaching adult Sunday school, choir member, praise and worship leader and serves as president of Bible Band and Women’s Christian Counsel.   She loves the ministry and is always willing to help in any capacity.  Missy. Dumas received her Missionary’s license from Bishop J. W. Leggett, Southern Georgia Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and was appointed to be the District Missionary for the Savannah District in Savannah Georgia.  She humbly and graciously supports her husband as they endeavor to reach out to the hurting and unsaved souls in the Savannah area.  Standing firm on the same principles of repentance, salvation, and a life of holiness, her desire is to live a life worthy of God’s calling, pleasing in his sight.
