Bio of District Missionary Janice Hayes

Dr. Janice Sharper Hayes was born, the third of six children, to Pastor and Lady Willie Sharper in Daytona Beach, FL. She has been saved since the age of 14 years old. District Missionary Hayes met her future husband and Pastor, Supt. Paul E. Hayes II, in Daytona at Undergraduate School, with whom she would marry after graduation, and parent two children. As years went by, Dr. Hayes would go on to earn both her master’s and her Doctorate Degrees, with Honors. District Missionary Hayes is employed with the State of Florida Government.
Dr. Hayes co-founded The First Pentecostal COGIC in Deltona, FL., where she Co-founded a Social Security branch of The Ticket-To-Work Partnership Program. She also Co-founded the first Chapter of P.U.R.E. (People United Reference Excellence), and The Georgia/Florida Charter Bus Ministry, there at First Pentecostal. She is active in the community, having served as a voters’ registration organizer, and having been selected by The City of Deltona, FL to serve on The Board of Community Housing Development. Dr. Hayes is a Small Business Entrepreneur, Owner and Co-Owner of Several Business Ventures. Over the years, she has become certified in many other areas such as Tax-preparation, Acting-Modeling Teacher/Trainer/Coach, Pageant Attire Designer, and Event Planner.
In 2010, Dr. Hayes was appointed District Missionary of The Valdosta District. Since that time, she has organized many initiatives in The Valdosta District, including groups such as Church and Communities registering to Vote, The Valdosta District Dream Team, and The Valdosta District Drama Team.
